Crop farmers' perceptions on climate change's impact on farm produce in Gwagwalada area Council, Abuja

In Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja, the study looked at crop producers' assessments of consequences climate change on farm produce. To sample 100 people, a basic random sampling procedure was used. The information gathered evaluated with descriptive statistics. purpose to discover several climatic elements that can effect farming systems, such as dawn (high temperature), rainfall, coldness, wind, and so on. High temperatures affect yields, severe rainfall induce flooding wash away nutrients in soil, rendering it inappropriate for planting, according study. Farmers are aware range contribute change, changes strong high temperatures, lack study's findings. responders were average 20 years old, males accounting 83 percent females 17 percent. It also suggested while organizing training programs, extension organizations consider farmers' low level education ensure they get most out programs. Personal observation, family friends, personal respectively, accounted 40% 23% available rural farmers area, observation 63 farmers. According report, communication gap between researchers agents should be bridged. Extension professionals will able use this assist adjusting negative change.
